Golden Nugget Atlantic City has launched a brand new live casino innovation to change the way Americans experience online and land-based casino gambling. Seemingly two sides of the same coin, this launch will bridge the gap between brick-and-mortar gamblers on the casino floor and the online players.
Online players will get to place bets simultaneously with players physically on the casino floor thanks to Golden Nugget’s new Live Casino Floor Roulette game.
Live Casino Floor Roulette To Change Online Gambling
Launched last week, GoldenNuggetCasino.com unveiled what it calls Live Casino Floor Roulette in which a roulette table on the casino floor in Atlantic City streams a live game video feed, in real-time to gamblers playing online. Both online players and gamblers physically on the casino roulette table can now place bets simultaneously, a gaming experience that previously did not exist.
In a press release statement issued by Golden Nugget Atlantic City, it highlighted the fact that online casino players would benefit from the “more authentic live casino feel” that would be viewed from the comfort of their own homes.
Live Dealer Games Have Competition
The last attempt at bringing online roulette games to life was the introduction of a live dealer. Live dealer games are streamed live from a professional studio with a croupier to spin the ball and interact with the online player. Online players based anywhere in New Jersey can now choose between the two games that aim to put the online gambler as close to feeling part of the casino floor as possible.
Despite breaking new ground, the only stumbling block for Live Casino Floor Roulette is that online gamblers cannot interact with the dealer on the casino floor as well as the other players physically at the casino table.
With the implementation of stricter legislation governing the licensing of internet gaming operators, the Marina District casino remains the only live dealer game provider in the New Jersey area. Complete with a dining and hospitality section, the Landry’s-owned Marina District casino is privately owned by billionaire Tilman Fertitta.
Golden Nugget’s Live Casino Floor Roulette game was officially rolled-out on the 21st of March.
