Caesars Entertainment has recently made a move to get into the film and television industry, after building a brand-new sound stage in Las Vegas. The new Caesar’s sound stage is 48 000 square feet in size, which makes it the largest sound stage in North America, beating out the previous title holder by several thousand feet, the Mega Stage owned by Toronto Studios. The new Caesars sound stage is located nearby one of the company’s strip casinos, so it is in a prime location.

Caesars Entertainment Has High Hopes

Caesars Entertainment is betting big on this new sound stage, which is located really close to Bally’s Hotel and Casino. It is hoping the new sound stage will go a long way to attracting more TV and film production to Sin City. This could be helped by the fact that there are more favourable tax breaks in Nevada when compared to California. Caesars is hoping that it can generate additional profits from the soundstage, thanks to cast, crew and audience members all visiting Las Vegas and the group’s hotels and casinos.

Las Vegas is one of the most filmed cities in the world. It is believed that around 500 productions take place there every single year. However, Caesars Entertainment is hoping that this new sound stage will be able to attract even more TV and film productions, such as those which are not actually set within the city. Caesars is hoping that this helps to build up the TV and film industry in the city. It can be used for movie sets, or TV shows and is even available to host special events.

Caesars Booked For 2017

While we don’t know much about who has been booked to use the soundstage so far, Caesars Entertainment has said that it is fully booked for most of 2017. It hasn’t revealed any details as yet, but we do know that ‘Who Wants to be a Millionaire” and ‘The Bachelor’ will both be using the facility. From July until August, it is said that six game show episodes will be filmed every single day and game shows are holding auditions at Bally’s.
