The Oneida Indian Nation celebrated the opening of two new sportsbooks at Turning Stone Resort Casino, and Point Place Casino on Thursday, August 1. The new openings were made possible in partnership with gaming, hotel and casino corporation, Caesars Entertainment. The Lounge with Caesars Sports is open to all sports fans.
New Sportsbook Opening Event Details
The opening event was themed, and hosted almost 300 New York sports fans. All those in attendance were served food samples from the new sportsbook menu and got to mingle with the mascots and cheerleaders from their favourite local sport teams. Representatives from both companies spoke to the crowds about the prospects of this new partnership and how they plan to cultivate the ultimate sporting experiences for all their customers.
The Lounge with Caesars Sports
Both venues feature LED terminals, bespoke odd boards that displays updated information at all times; full-service bars; ticket windows for convenient ticket purchasing; comfortable seating and other exclusive areas with TV screens for VIP guests.
The new sportsbook lounge at Turning Stone Resort Casino is located at the resort’s primary entrance. It features a huge 500 square foot LED television screen, similar to the ones seen at Times Square in New York City. All screens offer spectators visibility from three angles. In addition to this, 16 other LED screens are strategically placed throughout the new sportsbook. They include a mix of 65- and 85-inch screens enabling guests to view all the sports action from where ever they are.
New Sportsbook Loyalty Program Features
The partnership between Caesars Entertainment and the three casinos will allow players from all three casinos to exchange and redeem their TS Rewards points for Caesar Rewards points at any Caesar Entertainment property. The same gratuity is offered to Caesars customers to Oneida Indian Nation properties. Caesar plans to sponsor special promotions and future events at the casinos in an effort to bring even more excitement to its customers.
The first of such promotions kicks off on August 24, where players who wager on football futures at The Lounge with Caesars Sports, at either Turning Stone Resort Casino, or Point Place Casino will be entered into a weekly drawing and will stand a chance to win various prizes. Ten winners from each casino will be announced every Monday and could win rewards like sports merchandise and food vouchers.
Future Plans
The new sportsbooks at Turning Stone Resort Casino and Point Place Casino aren’t the only openings in the pipeline for the partnering companies. They also plan to bring The Lounge with Caesars Sports to the Oneida Indian Nations Yellow Brick Road Casino later this year.
