ESPN is asserting itself into the gambling industry. They have added a gambling show to their sports channel. The new gambling TV show, the Daily Wager covers gambling industry news and information. The Daily Wager discusses and analyses sports gambling statistics and info to provide an informed perspective of the sports gambling industry. What The Daily Wager Is All About

The Daily Wager will not only be airing on the ESPN channel, it will be available for streaming. Viewers can catch it daily 6pm Eastern time and on the ESPN app when livestreaming. Espn will film at THEIR Bristol studios in Connecticut. The host for the show is long time betting analyst for ESPN Doug Kezirian. Kezirian also hosts a podcast “Behind the Bets with Doug Kezirian”. The show will covert analysis of sports gambling data, but they will not be setting odds or handicaps for sports events.

Steve Coughlin known as “Stanford” who co-hosts Bad Beats joins Kezirian as a regular contributor. Amongst other contributors will be familiar hosts like Anita Marks, Joe Fortenbaugh, Chris Fallica, David Purdum, and Preston “Sports Cheetah” Johnson. More contributors and hosts will be revealed as the show progresses

Norby Williamson, ESPN’s Executive VP and Executive Editor of Studio Production said “ESPN’s mission is to serve sports fans. The sports betting environment has changed and interest is increasing at unprecedented levels. ESPN is going to have a strong and vibrant presence across our platforms, and the launch of Daily Wager is the next step in what has already been underway for some time.”

ESPN’s History with Gambling

When the U.S. Supreme Court withdrew PASPA last year in May, ESPN started broadcasting sports gambling soon after. ESPN offers digital content which includes podcasts and shows like “Bad Beats”. Bad Beats focuses on biggest losses in sports gambling.
