New Jersey’s Division of Gaming Enforcement reported that Atlantic City casino revenue hit $304.2 million in July 2026.. That is a 7.1% jump from the $284.1 million casinos won in July 2025. The win also put retail casinos ahead of New Jersey’s online casinos for the first time this year.

Table games drove much of that growth. Slot machines still bring in more total money, but table games grew at a faster rate this month.

Atlantic City Casino Revenue: July Numbers

Atlantic City casino revenue for July splits across two main categories: slots and table games.

  • Slot machines generated $226.1 million, up 6.2% from July 2025.
  • Table games generated $78.1 million, up 9.5% from July 2025.
  • The monthly total grew 18.2% compared with June’s $257.3 million.
  • Year-to-date casino win reached $1.72 billion, up 3.1% from the same period last year.

Atlantic City Casino Revenue by Property

Borgata still leads the market, but a few smaller properties posted bigger gains.

  • Borgata: $81.6 million, up 2.1%, the top performer for the month.
  • Caesars: $25.3 million, up 34.6%, the biggest percentage gain among the nine casinos.
  • Ocean Casino Resort: $52.2 million, up 21%.
  • Bally’s: $12.2 million, down 13.7%, the only casino to post a decline.

Eight of Atlantic City’s nine casinos won more in July 2026 than they did a year earlier.

Retail Casinos Beat Online Gambling for the First Time This Year

The Garden State’s online casinos also had a record month, but Atlantic City edged them out.

New Jersey’s online casino games generated $276.9 million in July, the highest monthly total yet and a 12% increase from a year earlier. Learn more about New Jersey’s regulated casino market and online gambling options. Despite that record, retail casinos still finished $27.3 million ahead. No other month in 2026 has seen in-person win beat online win.

Online casinos still lead for the year overall. Year-to-date online win totals $1.87 billion against $1.72 billion for Atlantic City’s casino floors. Online growth is also faster, up 14.5% year-to-date compared with 3.1% for retail casinos.

New York’s Casino Expansion Could Squeeze Atlantic City

Atlantic City’s biggest long-term threat sits just across the water in New York.

Resorts World New York City added a live dealer games floor with over 200 tables to its Queens property this spring. The property is also planning a second phase with a hotel, restaurants, and a large new entertainment venue.

Two more full casinos already hold licenses. Hard Rock Metropolitan Park near Citi Field and Bally’s Bronx at Ferry Point are both years from opening. New York City has long sent players to Atlantic City, so new local options could eventually change that pattern.

What This Means if You Play in New Jersey

A strong month for Atlantic City does not push players away from online options.

Trips to the shore work well for players who want a live casino floor. Atlantic City remains the only casino in New Jersey’s physical market, so online casino players who want convenience, or who live outside easy driving distance, still have licensed options across the state. Compare New Jersey’s licensed online casinos before you decide where to play next.
