Atlantic City’s Ocean Resort Casino Changes its Name Once Again

Ocean Resort Casino has changed its name once again and they did that to refocus on gambling.  The casino will now be called Ocean Casino Resort, one of the numerous ways the casino is rebranding. ocean casino resort Firstly, it was known as the Revel first and then changed to TEN. However, players will now have to be updated and learn the new name for the soaring casino at the north end of Atlantic City’s Boardwalk. However, the latest name change is less dramatic – more of just a reorganization. Ocean Resort Casino – Affordability

So, Ocean Casino Resort now puts the importance on affordability, backpedaling on the early Revel model of catering to high rollers, which is why low stake players at first did not flock to Atlantic City in great numbers to keep it alive. “The previous two owners promoted this venue as a resort,” said Eric Matejevich, the newly named divestiture representative of the property. “We see ourselves as a good casino property with attractive resort facilities.” After they opened in last June together with the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino, the Ocean already began hemorrhaging money by September, dwindling below minimum liquidness levels recognized by the state. Nonetheless, the casino has begun to improve. This is following New York verge fund Luxor Capitol taking over the ownership of the casino from Bruce Deifik. The $2.4 billion casinos launched in 2012. Though it never turned a profit in its first two years of operation, and it also claimed insolvency twice. A Florida entrepreneur then bought the property, but it suffered and sold it for $200 million to Deific in 2018.  More Casino News
