ROLR Prediction Market Goes Live: A Guide for US Players

Since October 21, 2026, any eligible US player can sign up for the ROLR prediction market from High Roller Technologies. Its contracts cover sports, elections, the economy, weather, and entertainment. Crypto.com powers the exchange, while High Roller runs the app and the customer side.

Editorial Statement: At CasinoUS, we independently review and select the online casinos featured on our site. We assess each operator using consistent criteria covering licensing, security, payments, payouts, bonuses, games, customer support and responsible gambling.

We may earn commissions when readers use certain affiliate links. However, commercial relationships do not determine which casinos we feature or how we evaluate them. We highlight both strengths and limitations so that US players can make more informed decisions.

For US players, ROLR adds another option to a market led by Kalshi and Polymarket. However, it handles your money and answers to regulators differently from a sportsbook. This guide covers what launched, how it works, and what to check before you open an account.

How the ROLR Prediction Market Works

Every trade on ROLR is an event contract, which is a yes-or-no position on a real outcome. Crypto.com’s recent CFTC filings set a $1 value per contract, priced from 1 to 99 cents. You collect $1 if your side is right and nothing if it is wrong.

For example, say you buy “Yes” on an NFL team to win at 40 cents. If the team wins, you collect $1 for a 60-cent profit before fees, but a loss costs your 40 cents.

Prices move as traders and market makers buy and sell, so a 40-cent contract suggests about a 40% chance. In contrast, licensed sports betting sites set fixed odds and take the other side of each bet.

Here is how ROLR lines up against a standard US sportsbook.

Feature ROLR Traditional Sportsbook
Main regulator Federal (CFTC) through Crypto.com’s exchange State gaming regulators
Who sets the price Traders and market makers on the exchange The sportsbook
Who holds your funds Crypto.com’s FCM The sportsbook operator
Market range Sports, politics, weather, finance, and more Mostly sports
Availability Eligible US users, with some states restricted Only states with legal betting

Who Holds Your Money on the ROLR Prediction Market

High Roller says the ROLR prediction market does not keep customer money. Instead, every account sits with Crypto.com’s FCM, a federally registered broker allowed to hold client cash for contract trades.

On paper, ROLR’s US company holds NFA membership and introducing broker status under a Crypto.com guarantee. Put simply, ROLR brings players in, while Crypto.com holds the cash and settles each contract. As a result, High Roller can launch without building its own exchange.

Can ROLR Compete With Kalshi and Polymarket?

High Roller enters a crowded field with far less money than Kalshi and Polymarket, after a $26 million January raise. Meanwhile, Kalshi set a new record this month by passing $4 billion in a single day of trading.

Newer rivals such as Novig, DraftKings, and Underdog chase the same players as the ROLR prediction market. Also, ProphetX’s federal approval adds another regulated competitor to the mix.

To stand out, High Roller signed four promotion deals with SpikeUp Media, Leverage Game Media, Lines.com, and Forever Network. The company says ROLR should start bringing in money before year-end, but it shared no forecast. For context, second-quarter sales came to $2.81 million, with a loss of 22 cents per share.

Checks to Run Before You Open an Account

State laws remain the biggest open question for prediction markets in 2026. For instance, Utah’s attorney general filed suit against Kalshi and market maker Susquehanna on October 20, alleging illegal gambling. Similarly, Underdog’s lawsuit against Tennessee shows how fast access can change.

Because state gambling laws differ, confirm the ROLR prediction market serves your state before you deposit. High Roller says geographic restrictions apply but has not published a state list. Then run through these quick checks:

  • How you can fund your account and cash out, plus any fees
  • Whether you can sell a contract before the event settles
  • Which markets are live, since offerings can change by state
  • Access to responsible gambling tools such as deposit caps and time-outs

Our Take on ROLR

The ROLR prediction market gives US players one more federally regulated way to trade on real-world events. Because Crypto.com’s FCM holds player funds, the money side rests with an established partner.

Until ROLR proves its edge, compare its markets, fees, and limits against the leaders before you commit.
